It’s a family affair for Sandwich Town FC as Under-16s Assistant Manager Lily Fairclough and her brother, U16s player Cam Fisher, take on the RBC Race for the Kids 2026 to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
Lily is a familiar face around the Sandwich Town Under-16s, where she is part of the management team, while her brother Cam is one of the players she helps coach and support.
Now, the brother-and-sister duo are teaming up for something a little different — as on Saturday 10th October 2026 they will both be swapping their usual football boots for running shoes as they take part in the RBC Race for the Kids 2026.
The event raises money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, helping support the hospital's work with seriously ill children and their families.
It’s fantastic to see members of the Sandwich Town family getting involved in such a worthwhile cause, and even better that Lily and Cam are taking on the challenge together.
There’s sure to be a little sibling rivalry along the way — but whether Lily, the U16s Assistant Manager, or Cam, the U16s player, crosses the finish line first remains to be seen!
