The lads come into this one after our first defeat of the season and a tough weekend off the pitch — and that’s exactly why a reaction is needed from every single one of us. Saturday wasn’t easy. It took a toll physically and mentally. But tonight is a chance to reset the mindset, tighten the bonds, and get back to the standards we know we can reach.
This cup game is an opportunity. Another competition to progress in. Another stage to show what we’re capable of when we pull together.
We know Deal Town Rangers well — last season gave us more than a few battles — and they’ve started this year strongly. They’ll arrive confident, organised, and ready to challenge us. That’s why we need to get back to the Sandwich way:
Hard-working. Unselfish. Focused. Playing for the badge and for each other.
Defeat teaches lessons — painful ones, sometimes — but tonight we use that as fuel. We don’t want that feeling again. We want to put things right, on our pitch, in front of our supporters, showing the togetherness that defines this club.
Let’s respond. Let’s regroup. Let’s remind everyone who we are.
Up the Town. ?
