Our very own Sandwich Town FC Sunday player Jamie Parsons is swapping football boots for hiking boots as he takes on the incredible Three Peaks Challenge in support of Shooting Star Children’s Hospices

The challenge will see Jamie and his team climb the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales — covering around 23 miles and over 3,000 metres of climbing — all within 24 hours. An unbelievable physical and mental test for an amazing cause.

Shooting Star Children’s Hospices provide vital care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, supporting families from diagnosis through to end-of-life care and throughout bereavement. Their specialist services include nursing care, therapies, respite stays, counselling and family support, all provided free of charge, 365 days a year. The charity currently supports hundreds of families across London and Surrey and relies heavily on fundraising and donations to continue its incredible work.
