Sandwich Town Football Club's First Team take to the pitch this Saturday in their first league game of the new season.
Having secured promotion to the Premier Division of the Canterbury and District Football League 1907 they will be looking to begin the new campaign in strong fashion when they take on Faversham Athletic FC at The University of Kent Canterbury.

Ahead of the game we asked new First Team Manager Stephen Rosen for his thoughts:

"Pre-season has been a rebuild in which multiple new signings have come in order to try to strengthen the squad for the new season. The plan is to start strong this weekend and do our best to get the first 3 points on the board. We have the talent we just now need it all to click into place."
