Ahead of the big day we asked Marc Taylor Manager of Sandwich Town FC Saturdays for a few words to sum up the teams route to the final:

"Sandwich Town Football Club entered the competition with high hopes of success.

The team produced their best performance of the season against a very strong University of Kent Monument side, playing outstanding football from start to finish.
They then followed this up with impressive 5-1 and 5-2 victories over Rising Stars and Chilham Reserves respectively, Unfortunately Betteshanger Reserves weren't able to fulfil their fixture meaning Sandwich Town finished top of the group unbeaten.

In the semi-final against Rising Stars, the team had to dig deep as their opponents pushed them all the way. It was not our strongest performance on the day, but the players showed tremendous determination and work ethic to secure a hard-fought 4-3 victory.

We are expecting an extremely difficult game in the final and are hoping to deliver our best performance of the season in the last game of the campaign and to bring home the silverware."
